New Toys.

Out shopping yesterday, picked up a couple of toys for myself !

toy no. 1 was a a Transcend Store Jet SATA hard drive enclosure, and a Western Digital 80GB drive. Thought long and hard about a portable drive, but the prices was too much !

Initial performance compros with some known reading show a nice increase in performance levels ! 10 MBPs gain over the non branded cases makes this a nice bargain ... and the included velvet-ish draw string bag makes the deal sweeter ! The case in the words of one of my friends looks "royal", not sure if he meant it or just forgot to add the "blue" after royal ! The bag is real nice, and can carry the cables and some of my other stuff too. :)


Second toy was a nice 2GB USB pen drive, for the stuff that would not fit in the 80GB drive. ;)



and as for why do i need this ?
