Back to Winning Ways

17th of May 2006, will be etched deep in the memories of all us Gunners, for the fact that we were 13 minutes away from being The Champions of Europe, only to be denied by Larson and the Referee.

The summer transfers saw the departure of a couple of the best gunners to date, DB10 and RP7, their place was taken by Rosicky and when the Cole saga came to an end, we had arguably the most versatile defender in Gallas at the Emirates Stadium.

The first three matches of the season were shit. We were passing the ball into the goal. Or in fact we were trying to pass the ball into the goal … SHOOT … and that’s what Rosicky did ... and we are now back …

4 wins on the trot… Hamburg, ManU, Sheffield, Porto … Not to the levels of the “Invincibles” but getting there all the same…

Need a better gprs plan if I want to watch the commentary of all the arsenal matches at my place in Kurla, but that was money well spent! Arsenal Win. Else I need a tv … and once that’s in place, I can forget Nov 19th.

Henry heads in 2 matches … and scores… a new skill for the marksman.

New music … AFI, Breaking Benjamin, The Killers and Franz Ferdinand.

New Books … Cat ‘O Nine Tales, Must read for all the fans of JA short stories. Want to find the new Mark Haddon… reading The Afghan.

Want more of these moments....

Victories home and Away ... Way to go ...
