thought that i would post some details of the exams that I have failed since i joined the college ! The first month has been a revelation in this regard!

Firstly, my book review got cancelled. Don’t know what they found objectionable in The Motorcycle Diaries. Half the class had reviewed one night, which had the diro fuming. We get loaded with a book review, of a book chosen by him. Got ram charan’s "boards that deliver" ... slow book telling me what boards do and what they should try to do ... got a B in the review.

the foundation course papers ... less said the better. got off work one week before i reached college, so the amount of studies I could do was limited to a cursory scan of the material. Looks like that was the condition of most of the batch mates too, esp those with work ex. The papers were relatively easy, but i though that i did exceptionally terribly at Math, Stat and Behavioral Sciences. From the results declared till date, have cleared math, safely, but stat and bs still remain to haunt me.

4 FCQs, or fortnightly conducted quizes have been held in this month! these are papers on Saturday mornings, from 9 - 11. The thing about these that make them all the more interesting is that we do not know what papers are we to answer till we get to the class and how many would we have in the 2 hours. the seniors have had days when they have faced 4 fcqs in a day ! Oh .. and the fun part is the psuedo gamble that ppl take when they say that they are sure that it will be a RM paper, coz the prof let it slip that there would be an exam in the near future. Speculations run rampant, and anyone who gets concrete information on papers is the hero of the day. when you have a choise set of 18 papers, the reduction of 1 / confirmation of 1 makes life all the more easier !

this sat was all the more fun coz i woke up at 8:50 for the 9am paper ! luckily got a rickshaw from the hostel to the college ... and reached 10 minutes late ... wrote all that i could in RM, one question for 15 marks ... faffed a bit ... hope to clear the paper ..

the rm project needs to be completed ... got the exploratory research questionnaire out today. lets see what the replies hold in store for us !
